What is a TMV2 shower?
TMV2 is the legal standard that valves should meet. TMV2 Valves are an essential safety feature to ensure water cannot reach taps at an unsafe temperature. By incorporating a TMV2 approved Thermostatic Blending Valve you can prevent accidental scalding and injury.
Did you know some competitors showers are not legal to be installed in the UK? Whilst some competitors claim their showers come with UK standard fittings and are designed for the UK, in many cases this is not true. Ergonomic Designs showers are WRAS and TMV2 approved so you can be certain that you are getting what you pay for. Only WRAS approved products should be used on a plumbing system and only TMV2 approved valves should ever be installed on a bath.
Why are some valves cheaper on eBay? There are a number of sellers on eBay, who have professional looking adverts which offer shower valves that look like expensive branded products at much cheaper prices. We all know the saying, “if it looks too good to be true...”

Will this work on my bathroom? For this shower kit to operate, your water system will need to produce at least 1 Bar of pressure and need a minimum recess of 72mm behind your tiles
