Negative Head Shower Pump

Negative head shower pumps are for situations where the shower pump is going to be sited either above or at the same level as the cold water tank and literally ‘sucks’ the water from the tanks to operate the shower. This is what we would normally recommend with a thermostatic shower because it does not use a flow switch that can be affected by back pressure.
