A. A shower valve is something that is installed to control outlets such as a shower head, turning them on and off and the temperature.

A. A shower valve will be a must to control any outlets that you want to run. Then you will need to decide what kind of shower valve you need. The majority of shower valves that we sell are concealed or exposed thermostatic and manual. However, we do also sell non-concussive valves (like you get in a swimming pool or gym where you press the handle and get a couple of minutes of water), sequential valves (one handle that you turn and the further round to get hot you turn it the more power that you have), and valves that will literally just turn an outlet on or off. You will need to speak to your installer about what your requirements are and what you would need to achieve those things.

A. As mentioned in the why should I choose a shower valve, you will first need to determine, with advice from your installer, which type of valve you require. You can then have fun choosing the style of the valve. There are hundreds of options to choose from, traditional and modern, but also different handle and plate designs, and exposed, concealed or bar valves. Really this will be down to the style of the rest of the bathroom, and the styles available within the type of valve that you require.

A. You will need fittings and fixtures to connect the valve to your pipework, and pipework will also not be included. You will also need outlets such as an overhead shower etc, but you may already have these if you are just replacing a valve.

A. This will probably be a no as to be small enough to be classed as a cloakroom bathroom there wouldn't be enough space to install a bath or shower enclosure so there would be no use for a shower.
