Toilet Macerators

Toilet Macerators are often used for toilets that you will struggle to get a fall on the waste, for example a basement conversion. As the macerators churn up the waste from the toilet this can be pumped away using a smaller pipe for example 22mm or 28mm rather than the standard 32mm or 42mm. Again this allows you to pump the waste uphill if needed to the nearest soil pipe. These can be fitted to any close coupled as long as the toilet is open back and has enough room for the size as the macerators.

A. Toilet Macerators are often used for toilets that you will struggle to get a fall on the waste, for example a basement conversion. Macerators churn up the waste from the toilet which can then be pumped away using a smaller pipe.
Q. Why should I choose a toilet macerator?
A. Macerators are perfect for bathrooms where you will struggle to get enough fall on the waste for the toilet, and as they churn up the waste from the toilet this can be pumped away using a smaller pipe for example 22mm or 28mm rather than the standard 32mm or 42mm. Again this allows you to pump the waste uphill if needed to the nearest soil pipe. These can be fitted to any close coupled as long as the toilet is open back and has enough room for the size of the macerators.
Q. Are toilet macerators suitable for use in cloakroom bathrooms?
A. Providing that you have enough space to fit an open back close coupled toilet, and that this has room behind for the macerator, then yes, a toilet macerator would be suitable.
