A. A grab rail is an accessory which is generally fitted next to a bath to assist the user in getting in and out, or next to toilets to assist the user.
Q. Why should I choose a Grab Rail?
A. A grab rail is a good option for people who are a little unsteady on their feet, who suffer from dizziness when they stand up, for elderly persons who need the extra support when climbing out of the bath or really for anyone who wants a bit of assistance when using their bath. Some are also for users who struggle with lowering themselves or in getting off of the toilet.
Q. What style should I go for?
A. In all honesty a grab rail does tend to be more of a practical functioning accessory than an aesthetic one, however this doesn't mean that you have to compromise on style. We do have a large selection of styles to choose from to enable you to keep the grab rail matching the other items in your bathroom, for example contemporary or traditional.
Q. Will I need anything else for my grab rail ?
A. Grab rails are designed to be stand alone pieces, always check the adverts to find out if fittings and fixtures are including as they aren't always.
Q. Are grab rails suitable for cloakroom bathrooms?
A. If you are looking for accessories for a cloakroom bathroom we wouldn't recommend grab rails. Normally they are used alongside a bath which there wouldn't be space for in a cloakroom bathroom. If you are planning on buying grab rails to assist with using the toilet again you may find that with limited space such as a cloakroom won't allow you to fit grab rails.
