Roll Top Baths

Roll Top baths are perfect for large stylish bathrooms. These are available in a range of different sizes and designs from traditional styles to modern styles. Depending on the type of bath you are looking at you may need to purchase legs or feet separately. You will also need a tap and waste for the bath that will not be included. Some of the baths do have tap holes that you can mount a standard bath tap too. If the one you want doesn't then you will need a freestanding bath tap. Also with freestanding baths the waste you need may be specific to the bath so we would recommend checking this before purchasing.

Q. What is a Roll top bath?
A. A roll top bath is just as It sounds, it features a rolled top! These baths are classed as traditional and will usually be freestanding.
Q. Why should I choose a Roll top bath?
A. Roll top baths are the perfect choice if you are trying to create a traditional style of bathroom. There is plenty of choice when it comes to finding your perfect bath, there are the back to wall versions, slipper style, standard freestanding roll top and double ended roll top. The style that you choose from these will depend on how traditional you are going for example a double ended roll top bath will offer classic elegance whereas a slipper roll top bath will create a real bygone era feel.
Q. What style should I go for?
A. As previously, briefly mentioned, this will depend on the look that you are trying to create. There is no right or wrong, or any one style that is better than the others, it is down to your ersonal style and the other items in your bathroom. Slipper bath designs are very traditional whereas the freestanding designs are less severe.
Q. Will I need anything else to go with my roll top bath?
A. Your roll top bath will probably need legs to be purchased additionally, along with the tap or filler and waste.
Q. Are roll top baths suitable for use in a cloakroom bathroom?
A. We wouldn't recommend any bath for a cloakroom bathroom as there will usually only be enough space for a cloakroom suite such as a basin and toilet.
