Delivery Information

What are my options for delivery?

We provide 3 options for delivery to you and 1 option to collect the items from our store and save money. Depending upon the delivery method you choose, the delivery estimate and the delivery price will vary based upon the items you have in your basket.

Small items are generally sent with couriers and the cost varies from £6.00 to £15.00 depending upon the manufacturer. Larger or fragile items are either sent on a pallet delivery or with specialist distributors on their own vans and delivery costs range from £19.99 to £54.99 depending upon the manufacturer.

Direct Delivery:

The fastest delivery will be if you select the 'direct delivery' option upon checkout, with this the items are sent out directly from our suppliers as soon as possible. If you were to order small Ergonomic Designs branded items (like our concealed shower sets) before 2pm on a working day, these will be despatched via DPD for delivery the following working day. If you are ordering multiple items of different sizes and brands this can result in a few deliveries, potentially on different days, which you may not necessarily get a timeslot for. Large items may come on a big pallet and delivery will be curbside only.

Grouped Delivery:

The cheapest delivery for large items will usually be a 'grouped delivery' where all the items will be combined into one delivery to arrive together, this will be the slowest option but will all arrive together meaning that you will only have to wait for one delivery. Large fragile items take a little longer and may be delivered on a pallet and will be curbside only. We suggest that you have someone on hand to help with large or fragile items. A delivery time cannot always be provided.

Part Grouped:

The last delivery option is a partially grouped delivery in which the larger fragile options will be sent out direct from our suppliers as soon as possible, and the smaller items will be combined into one parcel delivery. This will result in fewer deliveries and balanced delivery cost. This option will be kerbside deliveries only and on the delivery of larger items a signature will be required.


You can also select to collect the items from our Northampton showroom at no extra cost. Once your items have been prepared and/or received at our Northampton store we will call and email you, to advise that your items are available for collection. The person collecting the order must be the person named on the order and you must bring a UK driving licence matching the billing details you have entered or a passport and utility bill matching the details entered. If there are any problems, our staff will be in touch. You will not be able to collect goods without this.

When will my delivery arrive?

The speed of delivery will depend on the option that you have chosen, however for all deliveries you will receive a despatch email to let you know the delivery day the product will arrive and which courier it will come with. Depending on the courier they may contact you directly to confirm a delivery date, if this is the case then your email will advise you of a date that they should contact you by.

Additional Information

Below is a list of additional points that we may not have covered above:

1. Next working day delivery is only available on certain items. Please call us to confirm before ordering. Delivery times stated are estimates and should not be relied upon as a number of factors can affect the estimates, please always call us to confirm current lead times before ordering if your order is urgent.

2. All deliveries will need to be signed for at the delivery address entered on the order. We cannot change an address once an order is placed.

3. We strongly recommend that you DO NOT book plumbers or tradespeople until delivery of all of your goods has been made, and the items have been carefully checked. We cannot be liable for any costs incurred as a result of not following these instructions.

4. Deliveries must be checked as soon as they are delivered as any damages or shortages must be reported within 48 hours for us to be able to arrange replacement items. Damages reported outside of this time limit will be refused by most manufacturers.

5. If you are not going to be available on the date specified for delivery please let us know before the day of delivery as missed deliveries may incur a re-delivery charge.

6. We deliver Monday - Friday only. Delivery can be between 7am and 7pm on the delivery day. Weekend delivery is unfortunately not an option offered by any of our couriers.

7. Estimated delivery dates are dependent on stock. We do our best to keep stock levels up to date from all our suppliers but this is not always possible so please call us to check if you require a particular item quickly as stock can change throughout the day and the manufacturers don't always let us know.

8. We strongly suggest, that for large or fragile items, you have someone available to help you with the delivery, as these items will be delivered curbside only.
