Get help, with our bathroom mirrors FAQ

Q. I want to buy a new mirror for my bathroom what do I need to do first?
A. The first things to consider when deciding on a new bathroom mirror are shape, style, and budget. Once you know these three things you can look more closely at sizing, whether you would like a mirror with lights etc. and what other features, such as demister pads, you would like to go with the mirror.
Q. Should I go for a round mirror or a square mirror?
A. No one but you can decide on the shape of your mirror, this is purely down to personal preference. Square mirrors tend to provide a slightly edgier effect with a round mirror creating a softer mood.
Q. What design of bathroom mirror should I go for?
A. This will all depend on the design of your bathroom and what design you like. For example if you like the contemporary look you might choose something with LED lighting, if you like the traditional look then you're more likely to go for a more ornate look with a frame.
Q. What materials can I choose from and which is the best?
A. Mirrors all tend to be glass, it is most likely to be the frame that you will be choosing the material for. There are lots of materials to choose from including, wood, plastic, metal etc. most mirrors are generally well constructed and don't have to deal with much wear and tear due to the nature of them, so it is more the aesthetic you are hoping to achieve that will be important. As a general rule wood and metal tend to be harder wearing, however we have never had an issue with any mirror not lasting for a good length of time, irrelevant of material chosen.
Q. Which install option should I go for, for my bathroom mirror?
A. This is not really relevant with mirrors as they all pretty much hang on the wall.
Q. I have a cloakroom/tiny bathroom what bathroom mirror style should I choose?
A. You are not really limited in terms of bathroom mirror, the only thing you may have to bear in mind is the size of the mirror in comparison to the wall space you have available.
Q. I don't have a big budget, is there still a good variety of bathroom mirrors to choose from?
A. Having a smaller budget shouldn't stop you from being able to purchase a stunning and stylish mirror that you will love. We have a large range of mirrors to choose from, designed for various budgets.
Q. What else will I need to go with my bathroom mirror?
A. There is nothing else that you will really need to go with your bathroom mirror, however please be aware that screws and fixing kits may not be included, always check the advert before purchasing.
Q. Can I find matching items to go with my Bathroom mirror?
A. Most mirrors are stand alone items that won't have a matching set, however you can match them to the general style of your bathroom.
Q. What is involved with maintaining my bathroom mirror correctly?
A. All that will be required to maintain your bathroom mirror is a good glass/window cleaner for the mirrored part and then a gentle, non-abrasive or salt based cleaner for the framing. A soft cloth may be all that's required if done regularly, and will limit any damage to the framing etc.
